Hi, I’m Sally. I live in Canada. I hear there are many interesting places in China. I plan to go to Beijing, Hangzhou and Xi’an next month by plane. Beijing is the capital of China. The Great Wall is in Beijing. It’s very long. The West Lake is in Hangzhou. Hangzhou is in Zhejiang Province. I hear it is very beautiful. Xi’an is in Shaanxi. The terracotta army is in there. It is very famous.

Mike likes travelling around the country in his car. One evening he was driving along a road and looking for a small hotel. Then he saw an old man at the side of the road. He stopped his car and said to the old man, “I want to go to Sun Hotel. Do you know it?”

“Yes,” the old man said, “I’ll show you the way.” He got into Mike’s car, and they drove off（驾车）. They drove for about twelve miles. When they came to a small house, the old man said, “Stop here.” Mike stopped and looked at the house. “But this isn’t a hotel,” he said to the old man. “No,” the old man answered, “This is my house. And now I’ll show you the way to Sun Hotel. Turn around and go back nine miles. Then you’ll see the hotel on the left.”

Lily went to Sanya with her friends on her holiday. They went there by train. They went to the beautiful beach. The weather was sunny and hot. So they had great fun playing in the water. They ate lots of fresh fish for lunch. In the afternoon, they rode bikes. Jack fell off his bike and hurt his leg. So Jack stayed at the hotel and watched TV. On the second day, Lily took many pictures of the sea.  Anyway, they had a good time.

Tom went to Beijing by plane on his holiday. Every day he had fun with his parents. They went boating. They saw some elephants. They went swimming. They ate lots of fresh food. They also took many beautiful pictures. He enjoyed his holiday.

Today is Friday. I’m going to take a trip tomorrow. Now I’m going to the supermarket. I’m going to buy some food and a comic book. First, I ’m going to Guangzhou tomorrow morning. I’m going to go by train. I’m going to read my new comic book on the train. Then I’m going to Kunming by plane from Guangzhou. In Kunming, I’m going to see folk dances and eat snack. I’ll be very happy.

Lily had a short holiday. She went to Xi’an and visited her uncle. She went there by car. She played with her cousin on the first day. The next day, she visited Huaqingchi with her parents. She took many beautiful pictures. On the third day, she climbed a mountain with her uncle, aunt and her cousin. She stayed in Xi’an for three days. On the fourth day, she came back home and did her homework.
