The pupils of Class One, Grade Five went for a spring outing. They wanted to climb a mountain. They got to the foot of the mountain by bus. Then they climbed the mountain on foot. At the top of the mountain they took many photos.

Peter is a pupil in Grade Four. He likes sports very much. He likes football, basketball, table tennis and swimming. From Monday to Wednesday he plays football. From Thursday to Friday he plays table tennis. From Saturday to Sunday he plays basketball and swims. He is good at swimming. Look, he is swimming with his father in the swimming pool. They are every happy.

Jenny and Li Ming watched Bob play basketball this evening. They arrived at the gym (体育馆) at 6:30. Bob's team played with the Orange Team. Everyone played hard! Jenny and Li Ming had fun at the gym. They yelled for Bob's team. Finally, Bob's team won. They were very happy.

A Sports Festival

Today is Monday. The sky is very blue. A Sports Festival in our school is coming. On the playground, there are many students and players. Some football players are playing football over there, and many students are watching. Near the field, the boys are playing basketball.

There is a big tree near the office building. Under the tree, some girls are playing table tennis. Ann, Sue and many other girls are playing volleyball beside the tree. Look! There are some boys in the tree. They are watching their classmates playing volleyball.

Last spring, our class had a spring trip. We got on the bus at 8: 00. After half an hour, we got to the zoo. Then we visited the zoo. At eleven o'clock, we began to make dumplings, and we had our lunch at 12 : 00. After we had a rest, we rowed a boat at 14: 00. Two hours later we took pictures, sang and danced together.
