How to Improve Our English

Many students find it hard to learn English. When I was thirteen, I began to keep a diary in English. At first it was difficult, but now it is easy. I know it is not easy to learn English without practice. I like reading, speaking and listening to English. After school I usually go to the library to read English stories.

I have little time to watch TV. After I finish writing my diary, I always practice reading it through. I can correct my mistakes in this way. I think that keeping a diary is one of the best ways to learn English.

Helen is a great woman from the US. She was born in 1880. She couldn’t hear or see anything. But she was lucky（幸运的）, because she met a great teacher. Her teacher drew letters in her hand. Helen learnt to speak.
