Swimming is a very popular sport, especially in summer. People like swimming in summer because they feel comfortable in the water in hot weather. However, if you are swimming in a wrong place, it may not be safe. These years, a lot of people died when they were enjoying themselves in the water, and most of them were children. But some people still don’t pay attention to safety in swimming. They often think they swim so well that nothing can happen to them.

As the summer is coming, more and more people will swim in the river which is not as safe as the swimming pool. If you go swimming in the river, don’t forget that good swimmers drowned there. They died because they were not careful, not because they could not swim. So don’t get into the water when you are alone. If there is a “No swimming” sign, don’t get into the water, either.
