What are they doing for holiday? Mary is visiting her aunt in Paris. She is very excited to be in Paris. It is a very famous city. And it is a good place to go shopping! Tom is fishing by the lake. Because the water is very clean, there are so many fish in it. Ben is growing flowers. Jim is taking some photos in the park. The park is very beautiful in autumn, and it’s a good place to take photos. Everyone gets tired. It’s important to have a rest. And it’s good for your health. I like the circus(马戏团). It is very exciting. I usually go to the circus with my friends on weekends.

It is in a large tent(帐篷). We see the lions and tigers first. The lions and tigers sit on benches(长凳). Then they jump through the fire.

Next a lady rides a horse. She rides round and round and does comic dances(滑稽舞) and tumbles(翻跟斗) on the horseback. Then we see the clown(小丑). He runs round and round and plays funny tricks.

Finally a girl walks across a rope(绳).

We eat popcorn and drink Coke. We all enjoy the time at the circus.

It’s a warm and sunny Sunday afternoon. I take a school trip with my friends. I am very happy because I don’t need to do my homework. I jump and run. I am so excited that I fall into the river. Then I’m all wet（湿的） and I feel cold. My friends take me home. My father is angry with me. He orders（命令） me to practice（练习） my piano for 2 hours（小时）. I have a cold and I am very sad. What a bad school trip!

David and Helen are Linda’s good friends. Tomorrow is Linda’s birthday. She is going to have a birthday party at home. Helen is going to play the piano and David is going to play the violin at the party. They are going to give Linda nice presents. Helen is going to give her a doll and David is going to give her a toy train.

I am busy on weekends. On Saturday morning, I always go to my music club. On Saturday afternoon, I often stay at home and do my homework. Sometimes I go shopping. On Sunday morning, I help my mother clean the room. On Sunday afternoon, I often play ping-pong or basketball.
