Tom's family moved（搬）to Shanghai in 2012. His father now works in a car factory（工厂）. His mother is a doctor of No. 1 Hospital. Tom studies in Shanghai High School. Tom is the first to get up in the morning. He gets up at 6:15. It usually takes him twenty minutes to walk to school. His mother and father both get up at 6:30. It's about half an hour's car ride for his father to go to work. His mother goes to work by metro. It takes her about fifteen minutes. Tom always draws pictures and listens to music in his free time. His father goes swimming when he has time and it's his favourite. His mother often reads books after supper. They are living happily in Shanghai. They love Shanghai very much.

In a Park

There is a park near our school. We can see many trees and flowers there. Some flowers are red, and some are yellow. We can see a hill behind the park, too. At the foot of the hill we can see a river. there are some boats on it. Children like to go there. It is Monday today. There are many Young Pioneers in the park. Some are walking and singing. Some are dancing or playing games. Ann and her sister Kate are flying a kite. Tom and his brother Sam are throwing a Frisbee. Their father and mother are sitting under the tree. All the family members are having a good time.

Yesterday was Sunday and it was a fine day. The sky was blue and it was sunny. Mike got up at seven. He watered the flowers and did some exercise. Then he woke up his sister, Helen. An hour later, they took a taxi to Beihai Park. The park is very beautiful. They had a picnic and then they went boating. Mike rowed well, but Helen rowed faster than him. They rowed around the lake for a long time. They went back home at 4:30. After they got home, they helped their mother with housework. They had a good time yesterday.
