As is known to all, nowadays many students are interested in studying abroad.

Attending schools abroad has many advantages. First, by looking at our own country from outside, we can best see the strong points and weak points of our nation and therefore broaden our minds. Second, while studying in a foreign country, we can travel widely, visiting famous scenic spots and making friends with the local people. Third, we can use the foreign language in our daily life so that our ability in that language may be improved quickly. But the most important is to learn advanced(先进的) science and technology. For all these advantages, it is really worthwhile to go abroad for education.

However, as everything has two sides, there are also some disadvantages in attending a foreign university. The most serious problem is the language barrier(障碍). Most of the students who are ready to go abroad do not prepare themselves well for the new language environment. As a result, on arriving there, they will find it difficult to understand what the instructors are saying in class. Besides, for not knowing about the customs and way of life of the local people, they may run into trouble in dealing with various situations. Therefore, misunderstandings foten arise. Furthermore, the cost of living is much higher than that in our country, so most students have to find part-time jobs in order to help support themselves. Faced with these difficulties, many students find themselves unable to pay full attention to their studies and some students may even fail in their courses and learn little.

Therefore, given an opportunity to attend a school abroad, one must consider the factors carefully before making up his mind. On the one hand, it is a good thing to go and study abroad. But on the other hand, one must not neglect(忽视) the disadvantages.

As the saying goes, time is money. And in my opinion, time is even precious than money. Why? Because when money is spent, we still have a chance to earn them back. But when time is wasting, we can never get it back. There is no doubt whether time is very limited, and even a minute is of great value. We should make fully use of time to do what should be done. It’s the pity that a lot of people still didn’t appreciate the value of time. They are wasting their time doing nothing of useful. We should form the good habit of race against time and make a difference in our world.

    With around 100 students scheduled to be in that 9:00 am Monday morning lecture, it is no surprise that almost 20 people actually make it to the class and only 10 of them are still awake after the first 15 minutes; it is not even a surprise that most of them are still in their pajama’s(睡衣). Obviously, students are terrible at adjusting their sleep cycles to their daily schedule.

All human beings possess a body clock. Along with other alerting systems, this governs the sleep/wake cycle and is therefore one of the main processes which govern sleep behaviour. Typically, the preferred sleep/wake cycle is delayed in adolescents, which leads to many students not feeling sleepy until much later in the evenings. This typical sleep pattern is usually referred to as the “night owl” schedule of sleep.

This is opposed to the “early bird” schedule, and is a kind of disorder where the individual tends to stay up much past midnight. Such a person has great difficulty in waking up in the mornings. Research suggests that night owls feel most alert and function best in the evenings and at night. Research findings have shown that about 20 percent of people can be classified as “night owls” and only 10 percent can be classified as “early birds” ------ the other 70 percent are in the middle. Although this is clearly not true for all students, for the ones who are true night owls, this gives them an excellent excuse for missing their lectures which unfortunately fall before midday.

   The paperless office was first invented in 1975. Four decades later, we’re still chasing (追逐) the paperless office dream. Take the financial industry for example — it is one of the slowest industries to hug digital transformation. Many financial institutions today still send out trade confirmations (确认函) by mail. I can tell you from first-hand experience that going paperless is by no means impossible. You might think the secret to a paperless company is purely technology. Well, not really. Thanks to products like iPads, smartphones, and cloud services, the ability to go paperless is highly accessible. Yet, even with all this technology, companies continue to rely on paper. It’s not because they don’t have access to the technology, but because they’re lacking the policies, organizational structure, and strong desire to change. In order to go paperless, companies need to change the way they think and operate. The decision needs to be made and carried out, and everyone needs to work together to make it.

Yes, the paperless office has been a very long time in the making — but it no longer has to be. With plenty of software, services, apps, and technology available today, the only thing we need to do is make the decision to go paperless and see it through.

Nowadays many people cross streets without watch traffic lights. So traffic accidents often happen to those who didn't follow traffic rules. Why don't people follow traffic rules？Because they haven't realized an importance of traffic safety. Besides, some people are such busy that they don't want to wait for the green light. How do we solve the terribly situation？First of all, we should develop into the habit of following traffic rules. Secondly, who breaks traffic rules should punished. Lastly, we should teach kids how to cross streets safe. If we do that, there will be fewer traffic accident and we will live a better life.
