Which season is your favourite season, spring, summer, autumn or winter? I like autumn best. Autumn is the time for harvest(收获). In autumn I can eat many different fruits; apples, pears, grapes and so on. I can also eat fresh vegetables. Autumn is cool. I feel comfortable(舒适的). I am happy to see the leaves turn red and yellow.

George was a quiet, serious young man. He had been studying very hard for one year, and when he passed all his exams, his friend Jim went to give him his congratulations and then had an earnest talk with him.

“You’ve never been to a dance, George.” he said. “It’s boring always studying and never enjoying oneself. Come out with me this evening.”

“Maybe you’re right, Jim,” replied George after a moment of hesitation.

So they went to a dance and had a very good time. But George drank more than he was used to, and by midnight Jim became worried about him, so he said, “now we’ll walk home in the cool air.”

On their way home, they came to a bridge. George looked down at the river below very carefully, the stars were reflected on its surface.

“What are those lights down there?” George asked.

“They’re the stars, George,” Jim answered.

“The stars?” George said. “Well, then, they should be above in the sky. How did I get so high up here? They are now at my foot!”

Today is Sunday. The weather is fine. I go to the zoo with my parents. There are many animals at the zoo. Look! The pandas are eating bamboo (竹子) slowly. Two ducks are swimming on a lake. Two elephants are walking and a tiger is sleeping. I like monkeys best. They are jumping here and there. They like eating bananas. They are clever. Look! The bear is eating meat.

A train stops at a station（车站）. A young man is hungry, he wants a hamburger, but it is raining. At this time, he sees a boy standing under a big umbrella. The young man says to the boy. “Can you go and get us two hamburgers, one for you and one for me? Here are two dollars.” “Ok!” say the boy and he goes to buy hamburgers. After some time, the boy is back. He is eating a hamburger. “Where is my hamburger?” asks the young man. “Oh, there is only one hamburger left. So I’m eating mine. Here is your dollar.”

My father, my moocher, and I are going on a trip to Beijing. I invite my friend Linda to go with us. Linda lives in Shenzhen. It is far from Shijiazhuang. She wants to go to Shijiazhuang by plane. She will stay with my family in Shijiazhuang for three days. After that, we are going to Beijing by train. We will visit the Palace Museum and go shopping in Beijing. We will stay in Beijing for five days.

Tomorrow is Sunday. I want to go to the park. I want to invite my friends Lily and Betty to come with me. The park is far from my house. We want to leave for the park at seven in the morning. We will arrive at the park at ten in the morning. We are going there by bus. I think we will be happy tomorrow.
