In April 2014 I had a major surgery（外科手术）. The day after the _______ the nurse told me that I had to get out of bed and walk a little. I felt very _______ and every movement caused me a lot of pain. _______ ，even with the pain and discomfort I could get up and I just _______to sit on a chair by the bed. I was short of _______ and the pain worsened after the great effort I made.

While I was there I was _______ that I had to get up and walk a little when an old lady came into the ward（病房）. She walked directly towards me. Her hair was _______ white and very neat，her weak，white face glowed more _______ the bright，red and long coat she wore，and I could see that under her coat she was wearing a（n）_______gown.

You are a very kind lady. "Immediately she took my hand and said "I am going to pray for you"，and a very warm and comforting sensation invaded（侵入）me. I really ________ those words in those moments. I thanked her for her ________ and I asked her name. "My name is Pat，"she replied，"and I am in the next ward. "And then she left，leaving me a bit ________ but feeling much better and I even ________ the pain for a little while.

Finally the day came when I had to ________ the hospital. I never saw Pat again but that special and brief moment I met her ________ in my mind and my heart.

Through my years of school life, I've learned that if we are to make 【小题1】 difference in life, it's important that we should begin with small things. Just as the saying goes,“Small gains bring great wealth. ”

I still remember three years ago when I 【小题2】（admit）into this school. 【小题3】（face）with so many new things to learn, I was overcome with fear and didn’t know 【小题4】 to do. Noticing my state of 【小题5】（puzzle）, my class teacher, Ms. Li, told me that by just focusing my attention 【小题6】 small things, I could make progress 【小题7】（gradual）. Keeping her 【小题8】（word）in mind, I set to and began to make steady improvements.

This experience has taught me that, as well as 【小题9】（aim） high in life, we should also care about every small thing, which can make 【小题10】（we） success possible.

   All of my friends had jobs but I didn’t. That’s because they had a “hook up”. At times, I wished I had a hook up! If I did, I wouldn’t have to go through all those nervous interviews, or waste my ink on those applications that probably got thrown.

One day I asked my grandmother, “Why does no one want to hire me?” She said it was because I didn’t have any experience. How was I supposed to have experience when I’d never had a job before? Even McDonald’s wouldn’t hire me. I applied there so many times. It was a shame.

The Gap was one of the hardest places to apply. Once you filled out an application, the managers would interview you right on the spot. It made me so nervous that I couldn’t talk right. The first question they asked was, “Why do you want to work for the Gap?” Your mind was telling you to say, “For the money.” But you didn’t want to say that because you didn’t want to make yourself sound greedy, even if it’s the truth. So I said, “Because I’m familiar with what the company does, which is selling clothes.”

However, not for long there was another question that always seemed to get me every time, “What can you bring to this company?” I didn’t know, maybe more customers? By the time I got ready to pick it up, I heard them say, “If we don’t contact you in 24 hours, you don’t get the job.”

But if I was asked that question now, I would say, “I’m a hard worker and a very reliable person, and with these kinds of abilities I cannot only do a good job, but I can influence other employees to do so too.”

Despite all the bad luck I seemed to have, I didn’t give up. Eventually, I finally found a summer job.

Doing good daily doesn't necessary mean helping other people. We can also do something good for other little creatures on this earth. Today, I was on my way to home and saw the turtle trying to cross the road. I stop my car, picked up and brought it to a river nearby. It was the rush hour but there were a lot of cars behind me. It took me about five minute to finish doing that. Although my action might be an inconvenience with other cars, I knew that save a life was well worth their waiting. In my mind. what I did was meaningless.

The Students' Union organizes an activity for give away books to children in poor mountainous areas in our library on the afternoon of July 1.Its purpose was to call on more students to caring for the children's life and studies there.

Students were glad to give away some of their books and wrote down encouraged words on the first pages of them. In addition to，they left their telephone number and address，hoping to be contacting by the children. In end，more than one thousand books was collected.

The activity doesn't only allow students in their school to show their love for others but also helps them make new friend.
