Last Sunday, my family went for walk in a nearby park. We wanted to breathe the fresh air and having fun there. However, when gone out, we found it was cloudy and smoggy (烟雾弥漫的). Only a few people were walking quick on the streets wearing their masks. I was wondering what was the matter when my little brother begins to cough loudly. Suddenly I realized that it was air pollution. So we had to go back to home that day. Smoke from cars, buses, and factories make the air dirty, that is harmful to our health. I think they all should do some thing to keep the air clean.

   It was a few days before Christmas many years ago and it looked like it would be a hard one for my family. I lost my job so we didn't have much _______ . My wife and I had saved to buy our young children  some toys , _______ an unexpected car repair took most  of our cash. We decided then that we could only _______ to get one small gift for each of our children.

We arrived at the store and walked past people loading gifts into their cars. I _______ them a bit,because it sure didn't feel like Christmas to me. Every time we love, every time we ________ ，it's Christmas. ” It doesn't ________ have to be a gift of money either. When we give our time, it's Christmas. When we share our ________ ,it's Christmas. When we give others our ________ and compassion , it's Christmas. When we do ________ at any time to help another, it's Christmas.

   One afternoon I had been driving down the freeway when I spotted what looked like a stalled (熄火)car. I _____ that other cars had slowed down in order to briefly look at the stalled car. I decided to _____ behind the car and find out what was going on. Suddenly, a pregnant woman stepped out, and she appeared to be _____.I approached the woman asking if I could _____ She said, “Please call my husband. I am trying to get to the _____ . I am about to give birth！” _____ as I was, I said, “ We have no _____ for that. Quick! Get in my car and I will _____ you.”

I tried to drive both quickly and steadily _____ my passenger would not move around a lot. I also tried offering a ______ talk on the way, like “Everything is going to be OK.” and “We’re almost there.” ______ , we met no obstacle all the way and arrived at the hospital in no time. I tried a new lifestyle. I gave up the Internet, but even didn’t watch TV. I thought I would feel very boring. However, I had very different day. I wrote two article that morning. In the past, I always want to write one, but I didn’t have time. While I was separated from the Net and TV, I could devote me to writing. I once read an article, that said that every morning the writer spent two hours write without the Net. At that time, I thought of she was too strict. After I tried the method myself, I found it real worthwhile.
