   Doctors must learn all about our body. So they have to stay in their medical(医学的)schools for a very long time. And they learn a lot of things about our body’s system(系统). When we feel sick, we will go to see a doctor at once.

Teachers also spend(花时间) a lot of time in learning how to teach others. There are teachers for each subject, for example, Chinese teachers, Maths teachers, English teachers and so on.

When you are in the UK, you must be careful in the streets because the traffic(车辆) drives on the left. Before you cross a street, you must look to the right first and then to the left. In the morning and in the evening when people go to work or come home from work, the streets are very busy. It is the most dangerous then.

When you take a bus in the UK, you have to be careful too. Always remember the traffic moves on the left. Have a look first, or you may go the wrong way.

In many cities of the UK, there are big buses with two floors. You can sit on the second floor. From there you can see the city very well. It’s interesting.

Alice’s birthday is on the 20th of December. Her parents say to her, “Happy Birthday, dear! We have a present for you. Go and look for it in your bedroom.”

When you speak, write an e-mail or make a phone call, you are communicating(交流) with words. Sometimes you can communicate without words. A smile on your face shows you are happy and friendly. Tears in your eyes tell others that you are sad. When you put up your hands in class, your teacher knows you want to say something or ask questions. You nod and people know you are saying “Yes”. You shake your head and people know you are saying “No”. These carry messages(消息) for you. Other things can also carry messages. For example(例如), a sign on the bus tells you where it goes. Signs in public(公众的) places tell you what to do or not to do.

People can also communicate in many other ways. An artist can draw beautiful mountains, the blue sea and many other things. A writer can write about all the wonderful things in the world and also about people. Books, magazines(杂志), TV, radio and films all help us communicate with others.

It’s Sunday morning. I’m going to have a picnic in the park. I’d like to lie on the grass and look up at the white clouds. I’d like to swing. But it’s raining. I’m sad. I start to cry. Mother says, ‘Wait! We still have the picnic!’ ‘But how? It won’t be fun. It’s wet!’ ‘Dear Tommy, please read in the study. And I’m going to make a picnic in our home.’ Mother comes to the kitchen and starts doing things.

I have two new classmates. The girl’s name is Alice and the boy’s name is Eddie. Alice is tall and thin. She can swim well. She’s strong. Eddie is short, but he can run very fast. He can draw Alice’s grandpa’s farm well.

Mummy Rabbit and her two children live in a house. One day, Mummy Rabbit wants to go shopping. “Stay at home and close the door,” Mummy Rabbit says and then she goes to the supermarket.

A wolf comes. He wants to eat the baby rabbits. He knocks at the door and says, “Open the door. Rabbits.” Brother Rabbit looks out of the window. He sees a wolf. “A wolf is at the door. What can we do?” He says to Sister Rabbit. “We have some sharp stones. We can throw the stones to the wolf.” Sister Rabbit says. “OK. Let’s do it!” They open the window and throw the sharp stones to the wolf. The wolf runs away.
