Today is Sunday, it is October now. Our class has a picnic in a nature park. There are three groups. The first group is collecting leaves, there are many golden leaves. The second group is catching butterflies, it is very interesting. And my group is taking pictures. We want to remember this wonderful day.

This is our library. It opens at 8: 00 in the morning and closes at 5: 30 in the afternoon. There are many books in the library. We often come here to borrow books after class. When we borrow the books, we must obey the rules. We borrow only one book at a time and keep it for two weeks. There is a reading room in it. It’s bright and clean. We can read books there, but we can’t take them out.

Lychees grow in the south (南方) of China. They are small with red peel (果皮). Most people like to eat them, because they are sweet and full (充满的) of juice.  There is an old story about lychees. Yang Yuhuan loved lychees very much. Lychees have a lot of vitamin C. It is very important for people. Vitamin C can make children more healthy. So many parents often buy lychees for their children. Amy and her mum are in the fruit shop now. What fruit are they going to buy? Look! They are buying lychees.

Tom is a schoolboy. He’s twelve years old. He comes from England. He’s a primary school student. There are four people in his family. They are his father, his mother, his brother and Tom. His father is an engineer (工程师). He’s forty years old. He works very hard. He often works until very late. His mother is a nurse. She’s thirty-eight years old. She works in a hospital. She often helps doctors and patients (病人). She loves her work very much. She’s a good nurse.

Today is Saturday. Tom, his brother and their friends go to Shanghai. Some of their friends are from Guangzhou, some are from Tianjin, and the others are from Beijing. They can speak English very well. They are very happy.

This is my family. We live in Baoji.I have two grandfathers and two grandmothers. I have a brother, but I have no sister.My mother and father have two sons: my brother and me. Look! My mother is listening to the radio now. My father is reading the newspaper. My brother and I are playing checkers.

My good friend Ann is from Canada. She is eleven years old.She’s pretty and smart. She is helpful at home. She can help her mother cook the meals. She can clean her bedroom. Ann has a sister. Her name is Jenny. Jenny is eight years old . She is very young, but she can make the bed. The two sisters often read books on Saturdays.They love weekends very much.

Hello! My name is Jack. I’ve got a very happy family. My dad can play the piano and my grandma can sing very well. My mum and dad can speak Chinese. My mum is great. She can play computer games. My sister can dance. But she can’t dance very well. She’s only four. And I can play the drums! I’m fantastic!

Today is Sunday!  On Sundays I usually play the flute（长笛）. My father usually reads books. My mother usually cleans the house. But today my mother is in bed. She is ill. My father has to do the housework. Now, he is cleaning the house. “Sam, can you help me?” “Yes, Dad!” Now, we're washing the car. Where's my sister, Amy? She is playing my flute. What a lucky girl!

My name is Tim. Tomorrow is Saturday. We have no classes. My parents aren't going to work,but we are going to be very busy tomorrow. My mother is going to buy some things. My father is going to visit my aunt and uncle. I'm going to play computer games with my cousin. Tomorrow evening we will have a big dinner. After that we will go to the cinema. I think we will have a nice Saturday.
