Volunting is to lend a hand and make someone else's day a little easier. There are many organizations in your own company that would welcome your help. Volunteering can also lead to a playing job. Follow these steps to become a volunteer today.
Instructions
1). Write a list of all your skills. You may have a job or a hobby that could help other people. Look at your list and decide on how you can use these skills to help a local organization.
2). Research agencies(服务机构) in your area and find out which needs volunteers. Often non-profit (非盈利的) organizations welcome volunteers for all kinds of tasks.
3). Ask friends if they know anyone who needs a volunteers for all kinds of tasks.
4). Talk to members of your community centre. You may be able to help another member of the organization.
5). Check with your local school. Many schools welcome volunteers. Volunteers help teachers prepare something during the teaching in the classroom.
6). Write a resume (简历) and letter. Resumes show what you have done and what you can do. The letters show your skills and desire (意愿) for being a volunteer. Use resumes and letters to show organizations that you are serious about volunteering.
7). Search the Internet for volunteer opportunities. Visit websites such as volunteer.ca and volunteering. com for information on being a volunteer.
