Global Positioning System (GPS) is now a part of everyday driving in many countries. It is a space-based system that provides position and time information in all weather conditions. GPS can help people get to where they want to go.____When this happens, the driver is often to blame. Sometimes a GPS error is responsible. Most often, it is a combination of the two.

    ____Barry Brown, a GPS technologist, took an incident as an example. His friend once flew to an airport in the eastern United States. There he borrowed a GPS-equipped car to use.     王方翼，字仲翔，并州祁人。祖裕，随州刺史，尚^①同安大长公主。方翼早孤，母李，为主所斥，居凤泉墅。方翼尚幼，杂佣保，执苦不弃日。垦田植树，治林垠，完墙屋，为富家。高宗立，而从祖女弟为皇后，调安定令，诛灭大姓，奸豪胁息。居母丧，其友赵持满诛死，尸诸道，亲戚莫敢视，方翼曰：“栾布哭彭越，义也；周文王掩骼，仁也。绝友义，蔽主仁，何以事君？”遂往哭其尸，具礼收葬。金吾校尉劾系，帝嘉之，不罪。

    再迁肃州刺史。州无隍堑，寇易以攻，方翼乃发卒建楼堞，厮^②多乐水自环，烽逻警明。仪凤间，河西蝗，独不至方翼境，而它郡民或馁死，皆走方翼治下。乃出私钱作水磨，簿其赢，以济饥瘵^③，构舍数十百楹居之，全活甚众。

    方翼兼检校安西都护，筑碎叶城，面三门，纡还多曲以诡出入，五旬毕。西域胡纵观，莫测其方略，悉献珍货。永淳初，十姓阿史那车簿啜叛，围弓月城，方翼引军战伊丽河。败之，斩首千级。俄而敌兵十万踵至，方翼次热海，进战，矢著臂，引佩刀断去，左右莫知。所部杂虏谋执方翼为内应方翼悉召会军中厚赐以次出壁外缚之会大风杂金鼓而号呼无闻者杀七千人。即遣骑分道袭敌，皆惊溃，乌鹘引兵遁去，擒首领突骑施等三百人，西戎震服。初，方翼次葛水，暴涨，师不可度，沉祭以祷，师涉而济。
