Since the time I was seven, I have had a dream of becoming member of the Student Union. I always admired my school leader for taking responsibility for both of us. So I dreamed of being a leader like them. Years fly by and soon I was able to take part in the elections, hoped I would win.
But the reality proved that I didn't have a chance. I wasn't excellent enough. Girls in the school hard knew me. I just did not have which it took to win a school election. I was disappointing. As I cried in my room at that evening, I suddenly took a deep breathe and decided I wouldn't stop trying. I decided that I would enter for elections again in my final year at school-and I would win the election.

To show our love for poor kids whom were living in earthquake-hit areas, our school holds a special activity the other day in our school lecture hall. Its purpose was to making sure those poor kids have a warm winter. All the teachers and students in our school took an actively part in this activity. We gave away 400 pieces of clothes and 200 pairs of shoe altogether. After being sorted, they will be send to those in the need. I believe what they did will make a great difference to those poor kids. Although we all learn to care for others, the world will be more comfortable to live.
