I’m John. I’m in Class 3. I get up at 6:50 a.m. It’s 7:10 a.m. It’s time for breakfast. I go to school at 7:30 a.m. I have English class at 8:00 a.m. What time is it now? It’s 8:50 a. m. It’s time for Chinese class. I have music class at 10:40 a.m. It’s 11:30 a.m. It’s time for lunch. I like chicken. Let’s have some chicken. I have PE class at 2:30 p.m. It’s 4:30 p.m. It’s time to go home. I have dinner at 6:30 p.m. Come on! It’s 9:00 p.m. It’s time to go to bed.

It’s a nice day today. The sun is shining（照耀）and the birds are singing. Many people are busy on the street. Drivers are driving their cars. Some people are waiting for buses. Some are crossing the street. A policeman is standing there. Some old people are going shopping. They want to buy some food. Two girls are looking at the flowers and a beautiful woman is having a walk with her dog. Some children are eating hamburgers in KFC. They are talking. They look very happy.

Yesterday was Sunday. Peter went to the zoo with his parents. He saw lots of animals. There were lions, pandas, tigers, monkeys and elephants. He was happy. Susan didn't go out yesterday. She stayed at home. She did her homework. She helped her mother. Her mother was happy, too.

A wolf (狼) was in a pit (坑). He was very hot and hungry. "Help!" he said. An elephant saw it and said, "Let's help the wolf!" A rabbit said, "He is going to eat you. " A sheep came and asked,"What happened?" The elephant and the rabbit told him about it. And the sheep made a rope. They helped the wolf come out.

The wolf said, "Thank you, friends. But I'm hungry now. I'll eat you. " The wolf laughed (笑) and laughed. He laughed so much that he dropped into (掉入) the pit again! This time, the elephant, the rabbit and the sheep will not help him again.

An art teacher asks his students to draw pictures. They can draw anything (无论什么东西) they want.

After a while, a boy hands in (上交) his picture. The teacher looks at it but sees nothing (没有什么东西) on the paper.

“What do you draw?” the teacher asks.

“A cow eats grass.” the boy answers.

“But where is the grass?” the teacher asks again.

“The cow has eaten it up.” answers the boy.

“Where is the cow?”

“When it eats up the grass, it feels thirsty and goes to drink water.”

Once upon a time, a wolf was lapping the water(舔水) at a spring(泉水) on a hillside. When he looked up, he saw a lamb drinking a little lower down. “There’s my supper,” he thought . “I will find some excuses to catch him.”Then he called out to the lamb, “How dare you smear(弄脏) the water I am drinking?”

“No,” said the lamb. “I cannot smear your water because the water runs down from you to me.”

“Well, then,” said the wolf. “Why did you call me bad names last year?”

“That couldn’t be,” said the lamb. “I was only six months old then.”

“I don’t care,” shouted the wolf. “If it was not you, it must be your father.” After that he rushed at the poor little lamb and ate it up.

A train stops at a station(车站). A young man wants to come out, but it is raining. A boy is standing under a big umbrella. The young man says to the boy, "Can you go and buy us two hamburgers, one for you and one for me? Here are two dollars(美元). " "Great!" says the boy and he goes to buy hamburgers. After some time, the boy is back. He is eating a hamburger. "Where is my hamburger?" asks the young man. "Oh, there is only one(只有一个) hamburger left(剩下). So I'm eating mine. Here is your dollar," the boy says.

Jack is ten. He’s in Class 2, Grade 4. He works hard. He always does his homework after supper. He’s quite good at Maths and English. All his teachers like him. He wants to be a driver in the future.
