A drug that is used to treat serious bleeding could save thousands of lives for mothers' giving birth. A study of the drug found it reduced the risk of deaths caused by bleeding during childbirth by nearly one third. The study involved 20 ,000 women in 21 countries, mainly in Africa and Asia. The trial was carried out by London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. The drug is called tranexamic acid（凝血酸）. It is low-cost and researchers said it does not cause serious side effects for mothers or babies.

The drug is used to treat mothers for serious bleeding during childbirth. Postpartum hemorrhage（产后出血） is the leading cause of maternity（产妇的）death worldwide, according to the World Health Organization.

Haleema Shakur is the project director of the trial. She says though medical conditions are improved in many countries , serious bleeding after childbirth remains a big problem in some parts of the world. “It's one of the biggest killers of mothers. In Africa and Asia, about 10 percent of women will end up with serious bleeding. ”The drug works after a mother gives birth.

Shakur said the best results were reported when the drug was given to women as soon as possible after childbirth. “The earlier you give it- so within the first three hours of giving birth- the better the effect is. ”

The next step will be to find where the drug is needed a and provide training for doctors and  nurses on how to use it. During the trial, women were given the drug in a hospital. But researchers are looking for easier ways to use the drug so it can be more widely used in small clinics and  rural1 areas.

In the West, when you go to a restaurant, you choose all that you want to eat;you do not choose a dish to share with others. Your food 【小题1】（ bring） to you, for you alone. As a guest, you may have the problem that the food you like is expensive. So you dare not order it, for it feels greedy. But when you choose something 【小题2】   （ little） expensive, your host will order what you really want.

In China, the question is not . “What shall I have? 【小题7】 ”“ What shall we have?” Food is ordered to share with others, not just 【小题8】 oneself. My friends here usually take my likes and dislikes into consideration when 【小题9】（order）, and I do the same for them. But if something I don't like is ordered, it's not a problem because there are all the other 【小题10】（dish） that I can enjoy.

When I was at school, I have a nice classmate named Jenny , which was the first foreigner I had ever met. She was friendly and very pretty. She was good at three language ,although she was very young. It was interested that her father was a French while her mother came from England. All of them were teaching at a university at that time. Pick your fight. Every superhero has a battle. It's something that drives them to be the person they are. 【小题4】It could be anything such as working towards helping reduce the number of homeless people on the street. The fight does not need to be big, but it needs to be powerful.

Make someone's day. Real-life superheroes try to improve the lives of all the people they meet. 【小题5】 You can also try your best to absolutely make someone's day every once in a while. The people who get your help will thank you for it.
