According to a recent survey, violence（暴力）did exist in schools. Students showed their fear and parents and teachers also 【小题1】（express）their great concern about it. Experts hope 【小题2】 whole society should pay more attention to the psychological health of teenagers.

Nowadays, school violence is a hot issue. I think this is a phenomenon（现象）, which 【小题3】（call）for our great concern. We should make every effort 【小题4】（prevent）violence happening at school for more and more students would drop out of school if their personal 【小题5】（safe）could not be guaranteed（保证）. In fact, violence can be learned. 【小题6】（actual）, children learn violent behavior from adults or from 【小题7】 they see on television or on the Internet.

If I meet with school violence, I will not answer violence with violence, for it will result in 【小题8】（much）fighting. I will tell my teachers and parents about it. I think they will help me deal with it well and they will protect me 【小题9】 the bad guys.

How to Listen to a Teen's Complaints

As your child reaches his teen years, he's likely experiencing a conflict（冲突）between his social and family lives. This often causes frequent complaining（抱怨）. 【小题1】By listening to your teen's complaints in an active way, you make your relationship better and allow for better joint decision-making.

【小题2】You can see complaints from your teen as natural and positive, though the actual content of what he says might be negative（负面的）. Believe that listening to your teen's complaints is a chance to know your teen better. By psychologically preparing yourself in this way, the conversation will go forward more easily.

Accept your teen's feelings. Understand that your teen's complaining behavior might be wrong but that his feelings are never wrong. Recognize that negative emotions are natural and do not easily fall under the control of teens or even adults. Note that your teen is at least handling his negative emotions in the right way—through words. 【小题3】

Listen patiently and carefully. 【小题4】Listen for the words in his complaints, such as "I am sick of this" or "It's unfair to me". This often shows his feelings. Through body language or eye contact, show your teen you are listening to him carefully.

It isn't hard for everyone to grow up into a responsible members of society.

I can well remember an accident that happens on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was on my way to bookstore and was waiting for the green light at a crossing when a girl of about ten was knocked down by a passing car, what drove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to the girl to give him first aid and I joined in without hesitation. Lucky she was not badly injured but we sent her to the nearest hospital. Comparing with the escaped driver, I am pride of what I did.

As a member of society, I am aware of that being responsible is what it takes to make a better society.
