First of all，students should respect their teachers. They should pay attention in class. That means saluting（向……致敬）the teacher，standing from your chair when the teacher enters the classroom，attending any lesson attentively，etc. In the class of a certain subject or a teacher you don't like very much，if it's total anarchy（混乱），how can we talk about respect？

Play by the rules

If your teacher wants you to use wide-lined paper，do it！If he/she tells you to sharpen your pencils only before class starts，listen to him/her. If he/she doesn't accept late homework，do yours on time. Sometimes classroom rules seem strict or even silly，but most teachers know what's necessary to make things run smoothly and what it takes to let the learning begin. And the better the learning environment is，the smarter you'll be！

Expect him/her to like you

Teachers are teachers because they like kids. Given the chance, most teachers want to be your friends too. Respect your teacher, but don't be afraid of him/her. He/She wants you to have a great school year just as much as you want to have!

Put first things first

Friends are a fun part of school. But sometimes they' re not the most important part. When your teacher is teaching, give him/her your full attention. Even when it's hard to do — recess will come soon, and that's the time for playing with your friends.

Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area

Jiuzhaigou Valley，which lies in the northern part of Sichuan Province，China，reaches a height of more than 4,500m，with a series of different forests ecosystems. It's especially famous for its narrow landforms and excellent waterfalls. Some 140 kinds of birds also live in the valley, as well as a number of endangered plants and animals, including the giant panda. Jiuzhaigou Valley was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992.

Khami Ruins National Monument

The city of Khami, which developed after the capital of Great Zimbabwe had been given up in the mid-16th century，is of great archaeological（考古的）interest. The discovery of objects from Europe and China shows that Khami was a centre for trade over a long period of time. It joined the World Heritage List in 1986.

Henderson Island

Henderson Island，which lies in the eastern South Pacific，is one of the few atolls in the world whose ecology（生态）has been untouched by humans. It is famous for the 10 plants and 4 birds that can only be seen on the island. It was recorded in the World Heritage List in 1988.

Old City of Jerusalem

As a holy city for three different religions（宗教）in the Middle East，Jerusalem has always been of great religious importance. It was given a World Heritage status in 1981 and placed on the“List of World Heritage in Danger”the following year.

Last year I 【小题1】 (work) in Nepal for three months. When I had a few days off，I decided 【小题2】 (go) into the jungle (丛林) . I asked a Nepalese guide，Kamal Rai to go with me.

We started our trip at six in the morning with two elephants 【小题3】 (carry) our things. It was hot, but Kamal made me wear shoes and trousers to protect me 【小题4】 snakes. In the jungle there was a lot of wildlife, but we were trying to find tigers. We climbed onto the elephants' backs to see better. However, 【小题5】 is unusual to find tigers in the afternoon because they sleep in the daytime.

Then, in the 【小题6】 (distant), we saw a tiger, and Kamal told me to be very quiet. We moved nearer and found a dead deer, 【小题7】 was the tiger's lunch! Suddenly, I started to feel very 【小题8】 (frighten), then a huge tiger jumped out suddenly. It caught Kamal's leg between its teeth, but I managed to pull Kamal away. One of our 【小题9】 (elephant) ran at the tiger and made it go back into the grass, so we 【小题10】 (quick) ran away.  That night it was impossible to sleep!

It's my honor to share my dream university to you. I'm glad to tell you that my dream university is Peking University，that is one of the best university in the world.

There are several reasons why I like Peking University. At first，it had first-class teachers and equipment, which will help me make the progress quickly. Secondly, it is famous for their positive academic atmosphere, where students study hardly to meet new challenges. But at last, my brother, who studies there, says he is very satisfying with the university.
