Growing up is a part of life. When you really stop and think about it you often find out we begin in diaper（尿布）and a lot of us end up in diapers again. You are bottle-fed and diapered until you are around age 3. Then you begin to learn to go to the toilet, ask mom and dad for the things you need, and do things on your own with them alongside you. Aged 4, you start to learn about color, numbers, animals and many more.

Once you get to age 13. you are a teenager, and at this point you might have what we call a “smart mouth.” A lot of teenager get to the point where they talk back to their parents, but do we ever stop to think they are the ones who raise us, and they are the ones who provide for us?

At age 16, if you are lucky you get to drive. This is the point where parents begin to worry a lot about whether you are okay when you go out, or wonder what you are doing out there. Then you get to age 18, and by this time you are able to have the opportunity to express yourself fully in your life about what you want to do. Age 21 is one of the turning points in life we much wait. Why? Most people think it’s a big deal to be able to buy alcohol（酒）. It’s not that great. It only gets you in trouble especially if you abuse the privilege（滥用特权）. You are entering a life of bills, worry and stress. So get ready to go a long way by yourself now. You are not your parents’ responsibility any more. Challenge the world. Be yourself, but be smart while doing things.

And when you grow old, look back at the world, and tell your kids, you did something in your life.
