Mr. Hunt works in a factory. There he drives a truck.  He is busy all the time and often has to work at weekends. His wife is a nurse in a hospital and likes to keep things tidy and clean. She does all the housework alone.

One Saturday Mr. Hunt went to work. Mrs. Hunt was at home. She wanted to clean the house and cook the lunch. There were a lot of dirty clothes in the bathroom. But she didn't feel well. She began to clean the floor of the bedroom, but she was too ill to go on. Just then there was a knock at the door. She walked slowly to open the door.

When the door opened, she saw it was Sally, the girl who lives next door. Sally came into the house. She looked round and found the house was not as clean as usual. Then she looked at Mrs. Hunt and asked, "Why aren't you wearing your glasses today?"
