Dear friends

My name is Mandy. I live in Ottawa, Canada, and I want to make a pen friend from China. Now, I am a junior high school student. I have thirty classmates in my class. Some of my classmates have pen friends in China too. They tell me a lot about China. I think China is an interesting country, and I think Chinese people are very kind. So I want to have a Chinese pen friend.

I am fourteen years old now and my birthday is in July. I can speak French, English and a little Chinese. I have a nice family. I have a brother, Paul and a sister, Nancy. They have pen friends in America and England. My

father works on a farm and my mother is a nurse. I love my family. I like going to the cinema with my friends on Sunday.

My favourite subject at school is P. E. I like to play football. But I don't like Maths. It is too difficult for me. I like Chinese food very much. The food is wonderful. Please write to me soon.
