New York is the dream city for many fashion designers. Luckily，now I work here as a professional woman designer.

Some people think being a fashion designer is an exciting job. It's very fun，（1）__________ we also have to work hard. My everyday life is quite busy but meaningful.

Most of the time，I stay in my studio and start my day with a cup of coffee or tea. I read the latest fashion news，draw and revise sketches（草图），make patterns and contact dressers. My craziest experience was when I cut out 50 dresses in one week. Often，I stay up until midnight. But I enjoy it because I get to use my creativity.

To find（2）__________，I visit museums or galleries. There are so many in New York，including the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art. The idea behind some of my works called Opposite Side of My Brain came from a visit to a neurology（神经学）museum. This work was shown during New York Fashion Week last year.

New York has many surprises as well. Before I came here，I thought it was just a completely busy city. But later，I found it could be very inclusive（包容的）. In the streets，you will see fashionable people. （3）But at the same time，you will see homeless beggars. Interestingly，some of the beggars used to be bankers，musicians or painters in the past. Some of them have to be beggars because of bad luck，but some of them choose this lifestyle.

I have been here for 3 years，but I feel like it's just the beginning. I want to design more in this fashionable city.
