We were lucky enough to have a trip to Dubai（迪拜）last year. This city has grown out of the desert only in the past few years. It is amazing. We stayed in the Downtown area, very close to the Dubai Mall. 【小题1】 The free-standing building is the tallest in the world's biggest malls.

Dubai is hot. It's built on a desert overlooking the Arabian sea. Temperatures when we were there were well over 40℃.【小题2】But the buildings are linked（连接）together so you don't need to be outside for long.

We were told before we visited Dubai that it was the type of place where foreigners were not welcome. How wrong they were！Dubai is the most welcoming place we have ever been to.【小题3】

【小题4】 No litter, no smoking on every corner. The roads are so wide that there is no real traffic. Also ,Dubai is simply safe, yet there are not police around.

Dubai is all about fun. The food we enjoyed in Dubai was out of this world.【小题5】
