不要急
(1)多年以前,在我们那条街上,曾经发生过一起令人唏嘘的车祸,死者是一个初为人父的男子。据说是婴儿的尿布在那个阴雨天都用完了,头天洗的尿布都在工厂的锅炉房烘烤着,婴儿的母亲让父亲的去工厂取那些尿布来救急,这件事使年轻的父母心急火燎,那男子的自行车骑得飞快,结果被一辆卡车撞了。
(2)后来事故现场的目击者都说,他的自行车确实骑得太快了,他赶路太急了。
(3)想起这个不幸的故事,完全是缘于最近流行的一句话,“不要太急”这是一句好话,是不多见的具有劝世意义的流行话语。我第一次听到这句话是在牌桌上,我打牌一直没有什么风度,输多了就很急躁。那位朋友相反,输得越多人就越轻松,而且妙语连珠,他从来不急,是那种真正有牌风的人。有一次,他像是对自己又像是对我们说,不要太急了。他的声音使热闹的骂声沸腾的牌桌突然安静下来,然后我们听见那位朋友说,最近流行这句话,这句话真好。
(4)这确实是一句好话,是不多见的具有劝世意义的流行话语。不知怎么,又想起另一个好脾气的朋友。有一次,他的孩子发高烧,他的妻子急得手忙脚乱,光着脚,抱着孩子,就往医院冲,而那位朋友一如既往地穿戴整齐,才尾随妻儿而去,事后,他的妻子指责他,他说:“再怎么急,也不至于光着脚出门呀。”他妻子便一时无言而对。
(5)我想,人的性情通达至此,生活便是另一种坦荡的境界了。那两位朋友对于危机的处理方法出于天生的性情。其实,也是一种对生活的态度。他们不肯受制于危机的打压,他们用理性控制着自己生活中的每一个细节,如此,危机便仅仅成为正常生活的一部分了。
(6)不要太急了。对于大多数人来说,这是金玉良言,但做起来却不容易。急躁不是美德,却几乎是我们共有的思想和行为方式。每一次急躁都有其自然而然的理由,正如你的小宝贝没有尿布换了,而尿不湿这种新产品还没有问世;正如你在牌桌上大输特输,而你的口袋里的筹码却不多了;正如你的孩子高烧40度,病因却不详。你有理由着急,但是我们却总是容易忘记这个常识:急有什么用?
(7)不要太急了,说得是嘛,我们急了这么多年,生活中该有的有了,不该有的还是没有,急出什么名堂来了?一着急说不定就像那个不幸的父亲,为了尿布而葬送了自己的性命。
(8)我不提倡市侩哲学,但我一直认为为了生命献出生命是值得的,为了尿布而献出生命却是很可惜的。

    So I'd like to ask you to be responsible when it comes to social media. Switch off your devices at night. The world won't end and your social media will be waiting to greet you in the morning! ____
