蹲下的不只是身子

    多可爱的一个孩子,虎头虎脑的,牵着父母的手高兴地嚷着,跳着。很多人都为孩子的情绪所感染,长途的劳累在孩子的笑声中慢慢消失。

    大家就站在目的地野生动物园的门前,排队购票入内。看到售票窗口的玻璃上写着“成人180元,小孩半票,1.1米以下免票”。

    我问站在前面的孩子的父亲:“他有多高?”

    孩子的父亲说:“1.3米。”

    “那得买半票了。”我说。

    孩子的父亲并不做声,队伍慢慢移近窗口,只听到孩子的父亲在对孩子说:“进门的时候把身子蹲下来。”

    孩子说:“爸爸,你放心,①坐公交车一样是不是?”

    孩子的父亲在他的头上摸了摸。

    进门检票了,孩子在进门的一刹那,突然把身子努力地“沉”下来,做出一副十分滑稽的样子,②只小小的唐老鸭移进了大门。

    或许人太多了,售票员没有发现这位学鸭子走路的孩子。

    孩子一进动物园,马上恢复了原样,又蹦蹦跳跳起来。

    刹那间,我觉得十分难过,为那个孩子,也为孩子的父亲。为什么呢?在那么多人面前,毫无顾忌又顺理成章的。

    孩子蹲下来的不只是身子,还有比金钱更宝贵的诚实。
