2016年11月11日～14日，全国“情感教育与班集体建设”学术研训会在金华教育学院召开。全国“情感教育”首席专家，北京师范大学教授、博士生导师朱小蔓在研训会上指出，在教育工作中，如果不关注人的情感状况和情感发育的教育一定不是真正的教育。教育必须关注真实的个人情感及其发展，班级是情感教育大有可为的场域。绝大部分孩子是自然地掉落在一个班里，要以班集体这个建制把每个真实人的情感安顿好，班级要创造情感文明环境，让人的情感体验尽可能丰富深刻，有质量和品位。

    Like any other good mother, Karen did whatever she could to help her three-year-old son, Michael, get prepared for a new baby when she found out that another baby was on the way.
