      ①有则故事耐人寻味。一个失意的年轻人寻找成功的秘诀,哲人递给他一颗花生说:“用力捏捏它。”年轻人用力一捏,花生壳碎了,剩下了花生仁。哲人又让他用力搓搓,结果红红的皮也被搓掉了,只留下了白白的果实。哲人再让他用力捏捏,年轻人迷惑不解,但还是照做了。可是,他怎么也捏不碎这花生仁。哲人语重心长地说:“虽然屡受打击与磨难,失去了很多东西,但始终都要有一颗坚强不屈的心,这样才会有美梦成真的希望啊!”
      ②(A)其实每一个成功人士被磨砺“成型”的过程,大都并非坦途。(B)诸如职场失手、竞争败北、工作出错、进步受阻等等不顺心的事,会随时随地出现。(C)这恐怕是每个成功人士都经历过的,也是任何一个人成长道路上都可能遇到的。(D)不幸和挫折如同一块磨刀石。它可以磨掉人不够成熟、不够坚强的部分,去掉人的娇气和骄气,打造心灵的韧度,促使人更踏实、更坚定地前进。(E)如果不能用客观的眼光看待挫折和失败,稍遇不顺就自怨自艾甚至自暴自弃,就等于主动放弃了砥砺自己的机会,也放弃了进步的可能。
      ③其实艰苦的环境不一定就是人生的不幸,相反还会成为磨砺人生的砥石,它可以培养坚强的品质、意志和毅力,就像燧石只有在捶击下才能放射出耀眼的光芒。孟子说:“天将降大任于是人也,必先苦其心志,劳其筋骨……”罗曼•罗兰说:“只有把抱怨环境的心情化为上进的力量,才是成功的保证。”其实任何艰苦都只是相对的,如果能在艰苦面前无所畏惧、知难而上,努力打造心灵的韧度,就能从艰苦奋斗中享受最大的乐趣。
      ④“艰难困苦,玉汝于成。”只有经历了不幸、挫折、失败和痛苦的磨砺,真正打造了心灵的韧度,把不幸的命运握在自己手中,才能在生活中做到宠辱不惊,镇定自若。在面对突发情况时临危不惧,冷静处之,就能使自己始终不偏不倚、不疾不徐地朝着目标前行。
      ⑤人不怕痛苦,就怕丢掉坚强;人不怕磨难,就怕放弃希望。要想在人生的道路上有所建树,成就一番事业,就必须为自己打造一颗坚强的心,勇于在艰难困苦中磨砺斗志,走好自己人生路上的每一步。     (选自《思维与智慧》,有删改)

    Now I have learned to deal with my allergies and even see the good side sometimes. Having allergies has taught me not to be prejudiced about people's health conditions.
