I have a friend who is a worker in a rest home. Her job is to take care of the old people who suffer from dementia(痴呆). 

She is a wonderful person, but she never gets to do anything for herself. All of her time is spent caring for the old. 

So, yesterday, I wanted to do something nice for her. A few months ago, a friend gave me a kit(成套工具) to make my own soap. I hadn’t used it until then. I have found that making my own soap is a lot of fun, so I decided to make her a gift basket. I made three bars of soap to put in it and added a bag of bath salts and one bottle of lotion(化妆水). She often gets stressed out, so I hoped the basket would make her relaxed. I knew she would love it. 

Then I surprised her by taking the basket to her house. She loved it, which made me feel wonderful!
