        ④好多天,他的眼泪一直窝在心里。在家里,看到原本滴酒不沾的父亲每天喝得酩酊大醉,看到从不抽烟的父亲一根接一根地抽烟,好几次,他都差一点和父亲发生冲突。夜晚,他一个人躺在床上,辗转反侧。他知道,这个残缺的家,也许再也没有以前的温暖了,而他,必将从这里走出去,走出这个曾经给他无限幸福如今却又给他无尽痛苦的家园。
        ⑤离家的前一天,父亲拿出母亲在世时准备春天播种的那半盆花种,放到夕阳下的磨盘上散潮,然后又一个人出去找酒喝了。他气极了。在那半盆花种上做了手脚之后,他收拾收拾行李,回学校去了。
        ⑥两个星期以后,当班主任陪他再回到家的时候,看到的却是紧闭的家门。邻居把他父亲留下的几百元钱塞到他的手里,告诉他,父亲种下一亩多地的花种,竟没有发出一个芽,一气之下,出去打工了。
        ⑦接下来的几个月,在班主任的照顾下,他情绪好多了。放假前的一天,窗口的同学告诉他有人找他,出去一看,竟是几个月不见的父亲。那一刻,他想告诉父亲所有的真相,但在父亲面前,他却说不出半句话。父亲只是用力地搂着他。
        ⑧寒假,他和父亲聊起外出的原因,父亲再次提到那些没有发芽的种子。他安慰道,也许那些种子太过悲伤了,要等悲伤消尽才能长出芽来。
       ⑨父亲 “嘿嘿”地笑了一阵,说也许是吧。人也一样,你看前一阵子我不是又喝酒又抽烟嘛。
       ⑩春节过后,他说服父亲,不要出去打工,和邻居们一起种花,这两年花的行情看好。他再三提醒父亲,那块没有出芽的花地不要动,再给它一次机会,如果还不出芽,到秋天再从其他地里移小苗栽上。
        ⑪父亲听从了他的建议,没有出去打工,也没有动那块没有发芽的田地。
        ⑫几场春雨过后,那块空了一年的地上,竟长出一片郁郁葱葱的绿意。父亲在一个雨天,挽着裤管,披一件白色塑料雨衣,骑着一辆半旧的自行车,到学校里找到儿子,欣喜地告诉他,那块地,终于发芽了。
       ⑬他看着激动不已的父亲说,那是隔年花。
