       一天,字典的家里争吵得不可开交。一群小伙伴面红耳赤,一声比一声高。

       这场争吵引头的是感叹号。它亮起嗓门说:“我在感叹句后面,表示的感情最强烈,文章里数我最重要。”

      小问号首先不服气,尖着嗓子反驳说:“要是没有我表示问句,怎能引起读者的思考?”

       这一下又惹恼了小逗号,指着问号说:“要是没有我把句子断开,表示句中的停顿,人们一口气读下去怎么受得了!”

       省略号不慌不忙,但是声音也很高:“要是没有我表示文中省略,写得重复啰嗦,读者怎么受得了?”

       句号自认为水平最高,说:“在一个完整的意思的后面,没有我表示一句话的完了,糊里糊涂一大篇,文章的意思就不能清楚明白了。”

       字典公公制止了这场争吵,说:“你们都很重要,少了谁文章都写不好。但你们要记住,不要把个人作用片面强调,任何时候都不要骄傲。”
