My name is Pete and I live with my parents and my sister Jenny in New York. I'm twelve years old and Jenny is ten. I'm in Miss Smith's class and Jenny is in Mr Green's. Miss Smith and Mr Green both teach English. Both of them like sports. Sometimes Mr Green plays basketball with Jenny and me because he lives near our home.
I usually ride to school. I think it's a good way to stay healthy. My black bike is a birthday present from my grandparents. They live on a farm. At weekends, I feed the ducks there. They eat vegetables and other food. Some of my classmates ride their bikes to school and some even walk to school. But we'd like to take the school bus when the weather is bad. We are happy to talk with each other on the bus. Henry is my good friend and he often tells us funny stories on the bus.
