My name is Li Ming. I get up at 6:30. I eat breakfast at 7:00. I go to school at 7:40. Class begins at 8:00. I have an English class and a maths class in the morning. I have a Chinese class in the afternoon. I play sports at 3:00 p.m. I go home at 4:30 p.m. This is my day.

People eat different things in different parts of the world. In some eastern countries, people like to eat rice as their main food. They eat it twice（两次）to three times a day. They usually eat it with meat, fish and vegetables. The Japanese people eat a lot of fish, and they also eat a lot of rice. So they make different kinds of seafood sushi（寿司）.

In some western countries such as Britain and Australia, the most important food is bread or potatoes. People there cook potatoes in different ways. Some people only eat fruit and vegetables. They don’t eat meat or fish or anything that comes from animals but from plants. This kind of people are called vegetarians（素食主义者）. They think it is healthier for them to eat vegetables than meat.

There are forty-five desks for the children, and there are forty-five chairs for them, too. There is also a long teacher’s desk and a chair for our teacher. Next to the teacher’s desk, there is a yellow desk for the computer. On the blackboard, you can see many stars. Group 1 has seventy-six red stars. Group 2 has fifty-eight blue stars. Group 3 has sixty-nine yellow stars. My group has eighty green stars. Our classroom is old but we all like it very much.
