It was a few days before Christmas many years ago and it looked like it would be a hard one for my family. I lost my job so we didn't have much _______ .    When John Gurdon was 15, he ranked last out of the 250 boys in his grade at biology. He also came in last for every other science subject. His teacher wrote in a _____ , "I believe he has ideas about becoming a _____; form his present performance this is quite foolish. "

I didn't learn anything at all，mainly because I was busy denying him rather than listening.

Anyway，this morning，I was supposed to go to my first MUN meeting as the representative of the Republic of Ireland. But I forgot where it happens. So my dad and I ran around my school for an hour before finally knowing that we had come to 【小题9】 wrong place. What was awkward（令人尴尬的）was that a bunch of junior 【小题10】（pupil）were having their Adulthood Ceremony.

James and 【小题10】 inn were all heroes in Rhode Island’s biggest disaster, and they saved a lot of lives.

   A large cat arrived at a farm where many mice lived. None of them dared go outside for fear of being _________by the cat.
