This is from Anne’s note book: My group is going to study flowers. We are going to research flowers in France. First, we are going to read the textbook. We are going to collect pictures of these flowers. We are going to take photos of them. We are going to study the flowers and write a report at last.

Mike is my friend. He’s thirteen. He is Engish. We are in the same school. We are not in the same class. His father, Mr Black is a driver. He is forty. His morher is not a driver. She is a nurse. She is forty-three. Mike has a sister.

Lychees grow in the south (南方) of China. They are small with red peel (果皮). Most people like to eat them, because they are sweet and full (充满的) of juice.  There is an old story about lychees. Yang Yuhuan loved lychees very much. Lychees have a lot of vitamin C. It is very important for people. Vitamin C can make children more healthy. So many parents often buy lychees for their children. Amy and her mum are in the fruit shop now. What fruit are they going to buy? Look! They are buying lychees.

Ma Liang is a poor boy. He likes drawing. But he has no money to buy brushes, ink and paper. So he often draws on the sand with thin sticks or stone.

One night, an old man comes into his dream and gives him a magic brush. Ma Liang uses the brush to help the poor people.
