My mother and I do some shopping on Sundays. We often go to the supermarket（超市）on Sunday morning in a car. Father likes apples very much. We buy some red apples for him. Mother likes yellow bananas, but the bananas in the supermarket are green. "Look! The strawberries are very nice. Mum. Do you like them?" I say. "Yes, I do." Mother buys some for herself. The oranges are very nice. Mother buys some for me. I like oranges very much.

We need some vegetables. We buy some tomatoes, carrots and broccoli（花椰菜）. I don't like broccoli, but my parents like it. After shopping, mother and I have some French fries, milk and ice cream. And then we go back home with the fruit and vegetables.

My name is Liu Ying. I live in Shanghai, China. I have a friend. His name is John. He is from the US. He is twelve years old. Here are some of his photos. In the first photo,  the sun is shining.  Last year, we went to Beijing. We went to Tian'anmen Square. It is very big. Then, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is over 2,000 years old. We also went to the Palace Museum. It's the largest museum in China. We had a good time. We want to go there again.

Today is Sunday, it is October now. Our class has a picnic in a nature park. There are three groups. The first group is collecting leaves, there are many golden leaves. The second group is catching butterflies, it is very interesting. And my group is taking pictures. We want to remember this wonderful day.
