I’m Amy. This is my day. I often get up at 6: 30, then I eat breakfast at 7: 00. I usually go to school at 8: 00. At 12: 00 noon I eat lunch at school. I play the piano at 4: 00. At 6: 00 I eat dinner. I like my life（生活）very much.

Catherine is my good friend. She is from the US. She lived in Chicago when she was a little girl. After she grew up, she moved to Cuangzhou. She has blonde (金黄色的) hair and big green eyes. There are four people in her family. Her father is an engineer and her mother stays at home to take care of them. Catherine has a brother. He is a primary school student.

Catherine speaks English, and she can speak Chinese too. We often talk about our favourite books and movies. We know about each other very well. Every Friday, we go to the singing club together. We both like singing very much. After having the singing class, her mother often sends me back home. Sometimes, she can even stay overnight (过夜) at my home. We are like twin sisters.

My name is Amy. Last autumn, I went to Beijing with my parents. Beijing is in the north of China. It has lots of beautiful places. I visited the Great Wall and took photos with my parents. I went to Tian’anmen Square. It is very beautiful. We stayed there for two weeks with my grandparents. We had a lovely time.

Summer is the second season in a year. People like going travelling in summer. Autumn is the third season in a year. There are all kinds of fruits in autumn. Winter is the last season in a year. It is the best time for going skiing.
